Half Face (2018). Pencil drawing on card paper, 5.83 x 8.27 inches

Half Face (Digital). Rendered on Adobe Photoshop.

First and foremost, I do consider myself as an art junkie just because I’m very fond of art very much and also love to draw to paint. I’m pursuing art as a hobby for now. Nowadays, I’m focusing more on producing more drawings rather than paintings. I decided to make a self portrait drawing focusing on the bottom half of my face, as part of a figurative art study and also to enhance my hatching, contouring and shading skills as I go.

Half Face, graphite and watercolour pencils on card paper, 5.83 x 8.27 inches.

For this selfie drawing, I put red lipstick and I’m poking my tongue out. I used watercolour pencils as if were coloured ones. Then I rendered the image on Photoshop by painting the background light blue.

Artist. Sometimes, I write. Love to dance. Love to draw. Love to paint.
